STORYTELLING FLOW

Our Storytelling Flow Online-Course were recently in their 3rd week of Storytelling Flow!

In their third week, students were instructed to EXPAND IDEAS using an exercise created by Tom Hart where they create a large, nearly 24-panel story that is longer and more complicated than what is actually necessary to the story. This is considered the “Story Base.”

Here’s just one example where student, Brandon Hankins, EXPANDED his story!

DRAW JAMS!

Throughout the week we always have free, community-run virtual Draw Jams via Zoom run by Barry Sawicki! You can find the links embedded in SAW's Mighty Network, with regular updates about times and themes.

Come draw with us and chat about comics!

Speaking of Barry Sawicki!

Draw Jam Host and SAW student, Barry Sawicki, is well into his the second chapter of his comic series! He recently shared a page he was procrastinating on, but he got through and got it done! Check it out!
