Check out what we’ve all been up to the last few weeks with the SAW gang, SAW courses, and the Mighty Network groups!

SNAKES!!

Not real snakes! Our Going in For the Snakes Intensive Course just kicked off last week and students are already diving headfirst into the exercises. One of the first exercises in the course is to create an abstract comic from a noun and some lyrics (that’s just a brief explanation of it). Here are some fantastic examples from our students in their first week of Going in for the Snakes!

STORYTELLING FLOW

Our Storytelling Flow Online-Course finished up the last couple weeks and students created some amazing work over the last 6 weeks of the course. Here is just a snippet of the creative work materialized during the course period!

We’re THRILLED to see students thriving and exploring their own unique ideas like these!

DRAW JAMS!

Throughout the week we always have free, community-run virtual Draw Jams via Zoom run by Barry Sawicki! You can find the links embedded in SAW's Mighty Network, with regular updates about times and themes.

Come draw with us and chat about comics!
