Tuesday Drop-In! What emotions do you find challenging to draw?

Let's warm up this week with a page full of emotions.

Animated faces can SHOW a reader what WORDS sometimes can't, or purposefully don't. One extra line could change a neutral face to a sad one, or a happy face to a scary face.

Expressions and carefully placed lines on a face can show us, and/or show our audience:

• how a character may perceive themself or others

• what’s involved in capturing a likeness

• how outward appearances reveal interior realities

• the public facades that shape our view of celebrity and political subjects

What emotions do you find challenging to draw?

Which facial expressions do you tend to draw more than others?
