SAW Local: Adobe Illustrator Skillshare March 24, 2024

We’re very excited for a busy start to Spring in the SAW space including the first of our 2023-24 Emerging Artists in Residence Skillshares!

Skillshare: Adobe Illustrator Kickstarter with Uliana Chembrovich Sunday March 24 from 4PM to 6PM.

Uliana Chembrovich will be leading a 2 hour introduction to Adobe Illustrator. Participants will get an introduction to the software fundamentals through a sample file. The workshop will lead them through a live demonstration on how to complete simple design challenges, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way. Uliana hopes everyone will leave just a little bit less intimidated by this vital, industry-standard program!

Folks are invited to sign up for this workshop now through until Sunday March 24, 2024. Participants will be required to bring their own laptop and have Illustrator pre downloaded (available through the Adobe free trial).

Uliana is a third-year student graphic designer at the University of Florida, with extensive background in illustration, typography, and digital art. She's an avid enjoyer of anime and manga, nearly any and all genres of music, and spending time with her old horse, Elvis.

This skillshare is offered as part of the SAW Emerging Artists in Residence program, a year long studio program that invites young and emerging artists and storytellers across different disciplines to develop their creative practice in community. Read more about what’s involved here.

All our in person programs are supported in part by the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture, and National Endowment for the Arts.

We’ve got more skillshares, workshops and free events coming your way in April.
