Create a Scribble Bot!
In this workshop you will build your own scribble bot and create art with other fun new GNV friends. The bots have been found to be relaxing to watch and it's fun to see all the possible bot variations. Proceeds from this workshop go to a local immigrant charity.
All materials are provided: butcher paper, high quality duct tape (color is fun), AA batteries, rubber bands, contact motors, solo cups, popsicle sticks, markers.

When, Where, & Who?
—-> When: Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 6:30 PM - 8 PM.
—-> Where: In-person at 1314 S Main St, Gainesville, FL.
—-> Who: Intermediate level artists ages 16+ interested in art! Limited to 15 participants. Subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment isn’t met.
What to Expect
In this workshop, participants will make their own "scribble bot," a tiny robot made of a cup, duct tape, batteries, and a contact motor with markers and other drawing utensils attached.
The evening includes a presentation about a local immigrant safety fund and instruction for creating and playing with scribble bots. Bring your inner child.
