NOTES FROM SAW

We here at Sequential Artists Workshop (SAW) acknowledge that our studio is located in the original homeland of the Potano, Timucua, Muscogee, Seminole, Miccosukee, and many more Nations who trade and migrated through these lands and waters we now call Gainesville. More specifically, we acknowledge that SAW sits on the original lands of the Potano people, a Timucua speaking society that was victimized by colonial disease, manifest destiny, and abject violence. SAW acknowledges its obligation to honor the past, present, and future indigenous residents and cultures of Florida.
