Course Overview
In the digital age, comics have found themselves on many platforms, including Tapas, Webtoons, and various social media sites. What if you were to give yourself the creative freedom to host your work on your own site? In this 2 hour workshop, we will go step by step into creating your own site to host your webcomic at little to no cost.
We will discuss which host sites to use, use Rarebit to upload your pages, dabble in a little code, and talk about the customization options for your unique website!
No prior coding experience is needed!

What to Expect
2 Week Online Course. Weekly 2-Hour Live Sessions from 6PM -8 PM ET on Saturday November 7 and November 14, 2026
This workshop is geared for those who have work they want to translate digitally, newcomers to webcomics, or anyone interested in moving their work from different platforms to an independent site. No prior coding experience is needed!
This course requires working on a desktop of some sort including: laptops, desktops, etc.
Calls will include live instruction, time to work on exercises, and feedback on work.
Class videos, audios, chats, and transcripts will be saved and archived for the duration of the course.
There is a small Mighty Networks component for this course. Sharing in the Mighty Networks, which is our host site for community interaction and sharing work, will be encouraged. However, most instructor feedback will be in the live classes.
