Jodie Corney - 90s Mini-Comics Oral History Archives Project
Jodie Corney is a UK based creative whose comic work includes the ten issue length run of her original series Pretend Best Friend. She made Pretend Best Friend in the 1990s at the ages of 16 and 17. The comic, made with basic materials and reproduced on a photocopier became internationally popular, scoring her an interview with Russell Senior of the band Pulp and completely selling out!
Currently her creative work includes crochet projects and illustrating album covers for her partner’s music.
