When, Where, & Who?
—-> When: Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 3 PM to 6 PM.
—-> Where: In-person at 1314 S Main St, Gainesville, FL.
—-> Who: Artists ages 14+ of all levels interested in art! Limited to 20 participants. Subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment isn’t met.
What to Expect
The workshop goal would be to give a brief, broad overview on some basic approaches to character design. It would be part lecture with various design based activities. Topics to cover would be - inspiration, shape language, silhouette, genre convention, personality, & setting. Activities would be based on these rough categories, ideally participants will leave the workshop with at least 3 rough character designs.
