When, Where, & Who?
—-> When: Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 6 PM to 8 PM.
—-> Where: In-person at 1314 S Main St, Gainesville, FL.
—-> Who: Intermediate level artists ages 16+ interested in art! Limited to 16 participants. Subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment isn’t met.
What to Expect
In the digital age, comics have found themselves on many platforms, including Tapas, Webtoons, and various social media sites. What if you were to give yourself the creative freedom to host your work on your own site? In this 2.5 hour workshop, we will go step by step into creating your own site to host your webcomic at little to no cost. We will discuss which host sites to use, use Rarebit to upload your pages, dabble in a little code, and talk about the customization options for your unique website! This workshop is geared for those who have work they want to translate digitally, newcomers to webcomics, or anyone interested in moving their work from differrent platforms to an independent site. No prior coding experience is needed!

Ross Cortez is an animator, cartoonist, and digital whiz from South Florida, currently residing in Gainesville, Florida.
