Your Zine Toolbox by Adrean Clark

$12.00
Sold Out

Learn how to make zines with this new, easy-to-use guide to making 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 page zines by Adrean Clark. This pocket-sized zine takes you through binding techniques, kinds of folds and just how easy it is for you to get started at home.

From Adrean - “When I’m making a zine, I think about its shape. The question that comes to mind is: how can the relationship between the zine’s form and its contents enhance the reading experience? Most people know how to fold paper into half to create book-like zines or about cutting it in the middle for a smaller version. Surely there has to be more than just those two standards! Indeed, after months of research and experimentation I’ve found additional formats that open up new possibilities for zinesters. The material here is designed for people like me who struggle with their spatial sense. I hope this guide opens up new ways for you to share the world! Happy zine-making!”

Check out templates and more at zinetoolbox.com.

3”x 4.25”, black and white + color cover, saddle stitch, magnet closure.

About the creator:

Adrean Clark is an ASL Deaf cartoonist from the winterlands of Minnesota. She works by heat of studio cats to bring you comicky-goodness at adreanaline.com.

Please Note: Because SAW has a small fulfillment team, processing time may take 1-2 weeks before you receive your shipping information. For any questions regarding your order, please contact us.

We here at Sequential Artists Workshop (SAW) acknowledge that our studio is located in the original homeland of the Potano, Timucua, Muscogee, Seminole, Miccosukee, and many more Nations who trade and migrated through these lands and waters we now call Gainesville. More specifically, we acknowledge that SAW sits on the original lands of the Potano people, a Timucua speaking society that was victimized by colonial disease, manifest destiny, and abject violence. SAW acknowledges its obligation to honor the past, present, and future indigenous residents and cultures of Florida.
