In this 6-week comics-making class, we'll build basic comics creation skills through exercises and short projects.  Students will learn cartooning techniques and tools, design their own characters, practice drawing action, backgrounds and objects, and explore how to tell great stories in comics form.

An amazing week!

Last week saw our first LOW-RESIDENCY WORKSHOP in our new space. It was fantastic. 9 people from all over the country, and breakthrough and after breakthrough.

This is a playful one day workshop based on expanding your visual vocabulary with found and traditional materials.

Storytelling -and creativity in general- often involves holding two ideas at once. Or turning one thing into another, so that one thing becomes two.
